Meet Dr. Ally Joseph – Founder of Jehovah Rapha Medical Center, Caracol
Dr. Ally Joseph is the founder and principal doctor of Jehovah Rapha Medical Center, the only fully equipped medical clinic in Caracol, Haiti. Born in December 1979 in Cahesse, Caracol, Dr. Joseph is a dedicated Christian and experienced general practitioner committed to serving his community with compassion, integrity, and faith.
He began his education at St. Dominique Savio for his primary studies, continued to Lycée N. Henry Christophe and Nouveau Collège du Nord for his secondary schooling, and later earned his medical degree from UTESA (Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago) in the Dominican Republic. After completing his university studies, he returned to Haiti with a clear mission: to bring quality healthcare access to the underserved population of Caracol and its surrounding areas.
As a medical generalist, Dr. Joseph provides general consultations, chronic illness management, maternal and child care, and preventive health services. His approach combines professional care with strong Christian values, focusing not just on physical healing but also on emotional and spiritual well-being.
Through his leadership, Jehovah Rapha Medical Center now offers comprehensive medical services including pharmacy, laboratory diagnostics, and regular health outreach in rural communities. Dr. Joseph is not just a physician, he is a neighbor, a mentor, and a beacon of hope for many families in the region.
